Short-term storage

A wig stand can help preserve shape and allow airflow when the unit is fully dry.

Long-term storage

Detangle, make sure the wig is completely dry, then protect it in a breathable or low-friction setup that does not sharply crease the lace.

Protect long lengths

Loosely secure long hair to reduce tangling, avoiding tight bands that leave marks or stress the strands.

Keep lace flat

Do not fold fine lace repeatedly at the same point. Support the front and avoid storing heavy objects on top.
